Logitech have come up with a great deal of amazing equipment for techies, gamers and simply people looking for neat sound systems or the like.
A lot of their work is specialised, designed for gamers ranging from the casual to the hardcore elite.
I have recently recieved two new additions to my tech setup, though one has been out for a long time (and is actually my second set of this item
).
First, the Logitech G15 gaming keyboard:
Designed specifically for hardcore gamers. While an amazing keyboard in itself, it really is only for the harcore elite of gaming. Containing 18 special "G Keys" which can be used to create macros for different programs, the keyboard allows for greater control in many different video games.
For example, you could set the G1 key to a macro for "Alt + 5", which (for my personal key) allows me to, instead of having to reach awkwardly and press two buttons, cast a Holy Light spell on myself while playing World of Warcraft without having to lose concentration from my surroundings.
Following is a picture of the keyboard:
On the left of the board, separated into three groups of six are the G keys.
On the top of the board are the multimedia controls, volume control dial and backlit LCD screen.
The LCD screen is an extremely useful tool that can display critical information that might not otherwise be available. It can display chat, time, date and other functions, but its true power lies in gaming. It can give an ammo count, weapons held, health, armour etc. functions for First Person Shooters, Scores and commentation during Sports games, or the current resources held by Horde and Alliance in Arathi Basin, just as some examples. It can also display a useful tool that shows the usage of your CPU power and RAM.
Another beauty of the board is that all the letters/numbers on the keys are backlit so that no lights are needed and keys can be found easily.
I recommend using this keyboard for experienced gamers, or for those who wish for an extremely smooth keyboard experience. Not to mention a very silent board in itself, none of the loud clicking of other boards.
The other object I shall review are the logitech X 530 speakers.
Currently going for around $99 at your local Electronics Boutique store, these speakers are an amazing investment.
Capable of immense, powerful and clear sound, these speakers work with the majority of sound systems, gaming consoles and personal computers. One downside is that on certain media formats, only the subwoofer and two speakers will work. However, the true nature of these speakers is unleashed with the use of Dolby
Digital 5.1 surround sound, where all five satellite speakers and subwoofer will play and generate an excellent sound experience.
I currently own two sets, the other I bought today as my old set migrated to my new Alienware computer >.> So I needed to get another set at the Girlfriends insistence for the X-Box 360.
These excellent speakers are a worthy investment for anyone needing a sound system for any multimedia environment. Small, portable and with little cabling and easy setup, these speakers are perfect for the discerning gamer or the individual who just likes good sound.
Until next time!

"Welcome to the big show."
"Let me hear you say "Whey oh!""
Welcome to the second Random Video Blogspot! Once again brought to you buy youtube, broadcast yourself.
This video is a personal favourite of mine, and I was introduced to it by the lady who will very soon be writing her own reviews on Oblivious! (Hopefully
)
So here it is!
Torn:
Hope you enjoyed it! I thought it was damned hilarious.

For years they've entertained you.
The Incredibles.
Toy Story.
Finding Nemo.
Now wait till what you see them do with:
Cars.
And let me tell you, Pixar animation studios have done it again. Cars is one of the best movies I have gone to see in a long time. It contends with my inner child for the spot of "Best Animation Movie" with The Incredibles.
But enough of my Bias for super heroes.
The movie itself starts with a traditional fantastic plot line from Pixar's writers. I don't want to give away much here, but essentially, our protaganist (Lightning McQueen) is a race car competing for the Piston Cup. Our rookie hero stands a chance at being the first ever to win a piston cup in their first year.
After a "Tongue-Tied" race, the three final racers who are in the lead of the cup are to compete in a final decider in one weeks time. This is where it gets into the depth of the story.
You have all been told never to drive while fatigued? The same goes true here. Mack, Lightning McQueen's transport truck nearly falls asleep because McQueen forces him to drive all night. During the nodding period, McQueen is lost in the middle of the Highway and follows a truck he believes is Mack to the town of Radiator Springs on Historic old Route 66.
After destroying the town road McQueen is sentenced to community service to repair it, but this automobile has other plans to escape and make it to his race. Hilarity Ensues.
In your typical feel good film, McQueen makes friends with the residents of radiator springs and ends up doing the right thing. But to tell more would give away a little too much of the story.
Comic relief is abundant throughout. This is a hilarious movie and all forms of comedy are provided by each and every character. Some make you cringe, such as a late joke by "Chick", others will have you laughing for a long time. And as always, the movie delivers for all ages. Jokes and a storyline enjoyable by everyone meld together to create a truly amazing film.
If you do go to watch this movie, be sure to stay to the very end, there is a hilarious Toy Story rip off and plenty of fun to be had!
I would rate this movie with 9.5 Oblivious Points out of Ten, the loss of the 0.5 being because of some of the cringe worthy jokes.
Until next time! Stay in the know! Don't be Oblivious!

Welcome to the first RVB (Random Video Blogspot) for Oblivious!
This weeks video is thanks to Youtube (Broadcast Yourself)
Enjoy an -excellent- dance movie filmed using the game Guild Wars: Factions
Be sure to wait for the best YMCA sequence ever seen.
Also, I'm not quite sure how many people actually read my review blog but for those who do:
I have currently had an offer to do "Joint Reviews", essentially, one of us posts a review and the other then posts their side of the view (providing of course they have seen/played it, otherwise the review would be rather pointless huh?
).
Just wondering what anyone thinks? Especially you women out there. Would you like to read a womans view on movies and possibly videogames? Not to mention some RVB's from her as well I'm sure?

Well, I haven't gotten around to writing that review in a while, but meh, I've had my reasons.
Now however, I have had an epiphany.
My life is almost exactly how I want it.
The main reason being that my Apartment (with the addition of my new computer) has more Cables than food.
Anyway! On to installment #4!
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.
I'm not sure how many of you have actually read the book. The book was entertaining, it was a good read and it worked well for little kids as a nice story. Of course, that is if you put all Christian overtones aside.
The movie itself, is quite good. Of course, if you're looking for an absolutely spectacular plot line, then look elsewhere. The movie provides a basic outline of the story and everything is essentially just a lead up to the enormous battle scene near the end. Of course, the book was a lot like that in itself.
What I really liked, was that it didn't miss anything critical in the movie. The book was well followed and all the necessary points of information were present. The battle scene is what appealed to me in the end, however, as it always would.
Putting aside all bad armour comments and such, this is one of the most spectacular battle scenes I've seen in any movie and it saddened me that it was so very short. If they could have made the battle scene longer, drawn it out and included more tactics, more suspense, made it more Militaristic, this movie would have found its way into my collection long before it did.
However, it is an amazing movie, the children can be forgiven their poor acting, they're kids after all. The movie itself is an excellent watch if you're looking for an entertaining movie that the whole family can watch and will enjoy.
I recommend it and give it the following:
3.5 Oblivious Plot Points
4 Oblivious Visual Effects Points
3 Oblivious Acting Points
5 Oblivious Setting Points
For an overall 3.875 Oblivious Points.
I won't be doing a Factions review this time, as I've just finished Downloading the Patch for Auto Assault and plan on playing that a little before I go to bed.
Expect an Auto Assault review sometime soon!
